Worship Information

From September to June, Christ the King holds two Sunday morning worship services, each with Holy Communion at 8:30 and 10:30. All are welcome to join us at either of these services and to participate as much as your own faith tradition calls you to do.

At our 8:30 service, our worship is enriched as we join in song with our piano, adult and children’s choirs, to both hear and sing of God’s grace.

At our 10:30 service, the Praise Band enriches our worship as we are filled by God’s grace with the sounds of guitars, drums, piano, horns, and voices.

During the summer months, we worship outdoors, in our Pine Grove Chapel at 9:30.

At all services, you can expect to hear and participate in the story of our God, who is mending a creation torn apart by hate and violence with the gift of the abundant and eternal life of Jesus Christ. This is done through reading the ancient stories and wisdom of the Bible; through sermons of relevance and hope; through prayer for each other, our neighbors, our enemies, and ourselves; through sharing mercy, peace, and goodwill; and through sharing the feast of love that is Holy Communion.

We hope that you will come and join us as we gather together to experience our living lord, Jesus Christ.
